About The Faythe Medical Centre

The Faythe Medical Centre Wexford was established in 1999.In January 2012, we relocated to our new purpose built medical centre, where we continue to provide high quality patient centered healthcare. The Faythe Medical Centre serves the population of Wexford town as well as some of its surrounding areas. Mission Statement

The Faythe Medical Centre is committed to supporting the health and well-being of our patients. Our aim is at all times to provide effective health care to the Wexford community in a courteous and professional manner. Patients are treated with dignity and respect regardless of their age, gender, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religion. We always welcome their views as this helps us to develop the practice and its services.


Dr. Gráinne Pinaqui

Dr. Gráinne Pinaqui is a Wexford native and completed her secondary school education in the Presentation School. She graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. Having completed her internship in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, Gráinne then went on to work in various specialties in a number of hospitals to gain valuable experience prior to becoming a GP trainee. These included Neonatology in National Maternity Hospital, Holles St, Paediatrics in Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin , A/E in Beaumont Hospital, Medicine in Wexford General Hospital and Psychiatry in St Senan’s Hospital.

Gráinne completed her GP training on the Swansea Bay GP Scheme in Wales prior to returning home to work in The Faythe Medical Centre in 2002. Gráinne enjoys all aspects of Primary Care and General Practice especially women’s health and paediatrics. She is currently a committee member of the Wexford ICGP faculty.  She is married with two sons.


Dr. Mark McClean

Dr. Mark McClean was born in Enniscorthy. He graduated from University College Dublin with honours in 2005 and with a concurrent honours Bachelor of Medical Science Degree. After training in the Mater & Limerick Regional Hospitals, he worked in trauma surgery in the Royal Perth Hospital and in Kitovu Hospital, Uganda. He returned to Ireland to further his surgical training and completed his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons Higher Degree in 2009.
He completed his General Practice training in Waterford, with a diploma in Obstretics & Gynaecology and Family Planning / Contraception. He is a clinical tutor for University College Dublin. Dr. McClean is a trained Occupational Medicine Specialist and provides services to many local businesses. His other special interests include surgical procedures, soft tissue & joint injection, sexual health and sports medicine, where he has worked numerous teams including Wexford GAA, the Wexford Motor Club and Bohemians FC.


Dr. Moira Slevin:

Dr Moira Slevin qualified forn UCD , Mater Hospital & Temple St hospitals. Following training in St James Hospital, St Michael’s Hospital in Dunlaoghaire & Tullamore General she trained in GP in Co Kildare. She has over 30 years experience in General practice & special interests include Womens Health, Dermatology & is a member of PCDSI.


Gráinne Egan – Practice Manager

Gráinne joined the practice in 2010. She began working in GP practices in 1998 and has completed many courses, including the ICGP Practice Management Course, IMO Leadership Programme, Employment Law, HR, Payroll, Health & Safety and many more courses which are beneficial to the running of the practice.   She lives in Templescoby, Enniscorthy and is married with two children.


Nurse Jennifer Cullen:

Jennifer moved to Wexford from the UK at the age of thirteen and completed her Secondary School Education in the Presentation School. She completed her Nurse Training in St. Vincent’s University Hospital with a Diploma in Nursing Studies from University College Dublin. On graduation as an RGN, Jennifer worked in St. Vincent’s Hospital for several years, gaining experience in many different aspects of Nursing. Jennifer then trained in The National Maternity Hospital where she graduated as a Registered Midwife in 2004. Shortly after she began her career as a Practice Nurse. Jennifer gained several years of experience in General Practice in Dublin before moving to Wexford in 2008. She has an interest in all aspects of Practice Nursing with a special interest in Midwifery & Women’s/Child health. Jennifer is married with three children.


Nurse Eleanor Rossiter-Wallace:

Eleanor graduated from General Nurse Training in 1999 and then specialised in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing. From here she worked in Oxford in Rehabilitation. On return from Oxford, Eleanor worked in Nephrology and Dialysis Nursing until 2006. Eleanor then branched into Practice Nursing in a Medical Centre in Waterford City, gaining experience in all fields such as cervical screening, childhood immunisations, women’s health, ear care, phlebotomy, diabetic care etc. Eleanor also worked in W.I.T on the Cork road with the Medical Centre, specialising in Student Health. She is married, mother to three children and originally from Wexford and educated in Wexford.
